AA Streetware II. Penang
This book summarizes the results of the second edition “Streetware Penang” by the AA Alumni within the Visiting School Research Programme. Streetware II identified the necessity to look at the projects located at the edge of UNESCO buffer zone where a contrast of urban spaces and architectural typologies coexist. The redesign of the tangible urban bodies should allow for the intangible elements of George Town to flourish naturally and fill the reorganized spaces with the character of the place.
