In the international context, it can be seen that certain wine regions, such as Bordeaux, Tuscany, Napa Valley, Cape Town or Australia are becoming recipients of quality tourism.
In this aspect, La Rioja and Haro Municipality have managed to adequately combine the wine aspects related to nature, culture, leisure, sport, gastronomy or architecture. The development of these activities generates important incomes and contributes to diversifying the economy of the wine regions that have opted for this formula.
This book is the result of the collaboration between the Government of La Rioja and Haro City Council to disseminate the ideas on the future of the wine territories, within the context of the ISOCARP Mobile Workshop of 2005.
